This is my 16th year in the Florence Unified School District.  Prior to being the Assistant Principal here at Florence K-8, I was the Assistant Principal at Skyline K-8, the Master Teacher and math teacher at Florence High School and a teacher at Walker Butte.  I love being part of the Gopher team.  My family lives nearby and my two boys come to school here at FK8 also.  I look forward to helping the students and staff continue to grow and achieve greatness.

I started my educational career as a teacher for 10 years in Cottonwood and Apache Junction in Arizona. Then I moved on to the Coolidge Unified School District where I was an Assistant Principal for 6 years and then promoted to a Principal position for 3 years.  I moved to the Florence Unified School District last year and was an Assistant Principal at Copper Basin. For this upcoming 2017-2018 school year, I will be the Assistant Principal at Florence K-8.

I have worked hard during my career and have learned a lot through my different positions in education. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience throughout this time. I have been through many leadership training's that have helped me grow as a school leader. I use my knowledge and training towards making a difference in education.  I look forward to working with the families, staff, and students of Florence K-8 to move the school forward and in the process becoming a part of the Gopher family.
